The instructions for setting up Google Apps Directory Sync (GADS) says to use the config-manager to get the OAuth2 token. The config-manager uses a GUI. I am trying to set-up GADS on a Linux server without a desktop.

This has been fixed with version 1.6.18 of Google Apps Directory Sync which you can get from either the download page. I am having a serious issue with GADS.I am unable to sync members of a group from active directory. The filter that i use is. When you synchronize, Google Apps changes to match your LDAP directory. And, that’s how Google Apps Directory Sync was born. GADS and Google Apps in the Cloud Era Fast forward to present day and many organizations leveraging Google Apps do not have a directory service.
Is there any way to accomplish this task from the command-line without a full visual user interface?

I'm listing the commands for completeness sake (assuming you're running from the installation directory e.g.
/usr/local/GoogleAppsDirSync under Linux):
Google Active Directory Password Sync
You would be prompted to copy-paste a long URL into a graphical browser to obtain the Oauth token, which needs to be copied back into the command line prompt to set the token.
